Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has insisted that striker Loic Remy is not about to join the Chinese revolution.

Some of the biggest names in European football have decided to try their luck in the Far East in recent weeks, including Jackson Martinez.

Remy, according to website Football Insider, was the subject of a ÂŁ14m offer from an unnamed Chinese club, thought to be Shanghai Shenhua or Hebei Fortune.

Hebei, newly promoted to the Chinese Super League, recently agreed a deal with Ezequiel Lavezzi of Paris St Germain.

Hiddink, however, reckons that nobody is leaving the club anytime soon, including Remy.

He said: “I think this squad that we have now will stay until the end of the season.

“We must be very careful. We love to have double-covered positions and you never know what will happen.

“I don’t see many changes at the moment.”

Remy has not featured that often for the Blues since arriving from QPR in 2014, with eight goals in 28 Premier League appearances for the Blues.

He was linked with surprise league leaders Leicester on transfer deadline day, but a deal fell through at the last minute.
