He is an alternative target for the La Liga champions

Barcelona are targeting Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado in what could be one of the most surprising signings in the up and coming summer transfer window.

The Catalonians’ original target was Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin, who spent time in Barca’s academy ranks before moving to North London.

However, the Gunners have slapped a huge price tag on Bellerin, which Barcelona are unwilling to pay.

According to Don Balon, Luis Enrique and co. are now looking at cheaper options, with wing-back Cuadrado heading their shortlist.

The Colombian flopped at Stamford Bridge and has spent this season on loan at Serie A champions Juventus, but the Old Lady are refusing to meet the Blues’ asking price.

Barcelona could swoop for the 28-year old, who would be back up to Dani Alves at the Camp Nou.
