Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has given an honest and brutal assessment of the Blues’ season so far.
Jose Mourinho’s side are a lowly 16th in the Premier League table going into the international break, and were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Stoke City.
Off-field problems and poor form on it have contributed to the slide down the table for the reigning PL champions.
Spaniard Fabregas, fresh from helping his national side to a 2-0 win over England on Friday, has been one of the major disappointments so far for Chelsea.
He has failed to hit the form of last season, which saw him record 18 assists in the club’s march to the title.
And Fabregas told Marca ‘This season is being f***ed.
‘The results have not done justice to what we do on the pitch.
‘We are doing things better, but we’ve had no luck… We have to start winning now.’
