PSG and Real Madrid baulk at Blues’ asking price for winger

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are refusing to pay the £80 million Chelsea are demanding for winger Eden Hazard.

The two European giants are interested in signing the 25-year-old Belgium international, but Hazard’s poor form this season means that both clubs are looking at a deal of around £60 million.

Hazard was named the PFA Player of the Year last season, as Chelsea cruised to the Premier League title, scoring 19 goals in 52 appearances.

But he has scored twice as many for Belgium this season than he has for the Blues, scoring twice in the FA Cup, having made 38 appearances this campaign.

Conte ready to sell

The Belgium international has hinted, in recent times, that making a move to the Parc des Princes would be hard to turn down. And new boss Antonio Conte is not set to stand in his way.

It is understood the Italy manager, who will take over from interim-boss Guus Hiddink in the summer, is set to sell the Belgian, in order to fund moves for Juventus duo Paul Pogba and Leonardo Bonucci.

Conte sees Hazard as a profitable player to offload, in order to give him the funds to bring in his own targets. While a number of under-performing Chelsea players could also be heading for the exit at Stamford Bridge.
