Chelsea are ready to wrap up a deal for AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca, according to reports.

The Colombian attacker has an admirer in Blues boss Guus Hiddink, who is very keen to bring him to London.

Bacca has nine goals in Serie A this season, and is eligible to play in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Blues misfiring front line of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao has struggled for goals this term.

Bacca may well be the answer. Before joining Milan, he finished as top scorer in his only season with Belgian side Club Brugge, 28 goals from 45 games.

He only joined Milan in the summer from Spanish outfit Sevilla, where he was a key part of their back-to-back Europa League successes.

He was named Best Signing of the 2013-14 season by Marca, and was voted best player from the Americas at the LFP Awards in 2014.

He certainly knows where the goal is, and if a deal is completed, Blues fans will hope he continues his goalscoring exploits.
