Juventus are the latest team to join the transfer chase for Leicester City star N’Golo Kante, according to reports.
25-year-old Kante, one of the stars of the Foxes’ title-winning 2015-16 season, has a £20m release clause in his contract.
He had attracted interest from Chelsea and Arsenal, while Real Madrid are also keen on the star.
But Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim Juventus are determined to secure a deal.
Juventus manager Max Allegri has his eyes on Kante as a potential successor to Claudio Marchisio.
Kante’s French international teammate Paul Pogba could be on his way out of Turin, and Allegri is wary of losing another of his stars.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is a fan of Kante, but might not want to test Leicester’s resolve after having a deal for Jamie Vardy turned down by the player.
Any deal is not expected to take place before the end of the European Championships, where Kante, Pogba and the rest of the France squad are currently preparing for Sunday’s Quarter-Final against England’s conquerors Iceland in Saint-Denis.
