Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is seemingly a man on a mission: to get Liverpool back into the Champions League next season. The German has admitted that qualification is essential for this season to be regarded as a relative success.
Liverpool missed out on the Champions League this season, after falling to defeat against Spanish side Sevilla in last season’s Europa League Final. Victory would have meant the Anfield side being involved this term.
Klopp is reportedly hell-bent on making sure they do not fall short again.
“I will only be satisfied if we reach the Champions League,” Klopp said.
“You are always under pressure. In every game there is pressure. You need to win all the time. I’m only satisfied when the team wins.”
Liverpool are currently third in the Premier League with six games to go. They have played more than Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal, however.
