Liverpool are set to offer both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez new deals to reward their excellent performance for the side, according to reports. Both the players have played pivotal roles in Jurgen Klopp’s plans so far.
Both Gomez and Alexander-Arnold have established themselves in the starting lineup this season. Gomez has partnered Virgil Van Dijk in the heart of the Reds backline this term which has been breached only once so far this season.
On the other side, Alexander-Arnold has made the right back position his own as he has been a revelation in that position. His performance for the Reds impressed Gareth Southgate who had included him in the World Cup squad.
The 19 year old currently takes home around £40,000-a-week but his rise to prominence has compelled the club authority to renew his contract. The youngster is set for a huge pay rise and could earn in the tune of £60,000 should he put pen paper to a new deal.
Gomez is also in line to earn a massive hike in his wage. Liverpool have had a brilliant start to the season and Klopp wants to make sure he has every ammunition available at his disposal in this season.
