The Reds are set to offload Fabio Borini to West Ham for an £8m fee as Brendan Rodgers tries to raise more money to spend on new targets.
The Hammers are closing in on the signing of out of favor striker Fabio Borini and he is due for a medical in London, Liverpool were going to sell him to Sunderland last summer for £12m but the deal never kicked off as the striker wanted to stay at Anfield.
Liverpool Set to Offload Striker to West Ham
Borini only made just 12 Premier League appearances for Liverpool in the 2014-15 season and the former Roma man now wants a move away from Anfield in search of more playing time.
The Reds Boss will be happy to oblige a move as he looks to clear the decks at Anfield so he can finance more arrivals. Also set to leave are Sebastian Coates, who is expected to join Sunderland this week in a deal worth £4million, while Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert, Jose Enrique and Luis Alberto have also been made available for transfers.
