Allegri says it’s very difficult to see Pogba at Juventus again

Juventus boss Max Allegri believes that it is “very difficult” to see Paul Pogba playing for the Old Lady again after the Frenchman seemed to have settled at Manchester United since the departure of Jose Mourinho.

Pogba joined Juventus from United back in 2012 and enjoyed four trophy-full seasons in Turin, winning a quartet of Serie A titles.

His stirring form in Italy rather forced the Red Devils to make a move to bring him back. They eventually got the midfielder for a then world-record fee of £89.3m in 2016.

Critics suggested that Pogba has been erratic since his come back to United, and his relationship with Mourinho was a regular soap opera. There were even speculations that Spanish giants Real Madrid and/or Barcelona would make the bid for him and the Frenchman might move away.

However, since the arrival of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the midfielder has been a player reborn. He was fantastic in United’s big away wins at Tottenham and Arsenal. A free role in midfield seems to suit him and he is enjoying his football again.

When asked about the French World Cup winner in a news press conference, Allegri said: “It’s very difficult to see him at Juventus again.”

Manchester United look a real deal again and with the re-emergence of Pogba in midfield, they have a great chance of finishing this season strongly.
