The striker has caught this man’s eye

According to reports, World-renowned football agent Jorge Mendes has expressed his desire to represent Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

The 18-year old burst onto the scene when he scored a brace on his debut in the Europa League, before repeating the same feat in a 3-2 win over Arsenal just days later.

Since then, he hasn’t looked back. The England under 20s international has scored seven goals in 13 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

His ability to score big goals in big games is also evident, as he scored the winner in the recent Manchester derby victory, as well as bagging in the FA Cup quarter-final replay win at West Ham.

Mendes is respected

Such form has caught the eye of Mendes, who represents the likes of Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese representative allegedly wants to add Rashford to his clientele, and his relationships with United legend Sir Alex Ferguson and the Red Devils’ chief executive Ed Woodward could help push a contract through.

Rashford is currently represented by his older brother Dwaine Maynard, who is about to secure the centre-forward a new ÂŁ15,000-a-week deal at Old Trafford.
