Ole warns Arsenal fans

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned Arsenal fans that Alexis Sanchez will only be motivated by any abuse he receives during Friday night’s blockbuster FA Cup tie at the Emirates.

The Chile international left the Gunners to join the Red Devils a year ago. The move was supposed to be fantastic for United, but the forward has struggled to harness much impact at Old Trafford. He has only scored four goals in 32 appearances thus far.

Sanchez was one of the senior players who fell out with Jose Mourinho, and his hamstring injury forced him to play a bit-part role under Solskjaer.

However, the ex-Manchester United legend has confirmed that the 30-year-old would feature tomorrow. This would be the first trip to the Emirates for Sanchez, since his move to Old Trafford.

Solskjaer was quoted saying – “He’ll be involved. I think he’ll love it if the crowd turn against him. ”

“As a player, pride kicks in and you think ‘I’ll show all of you’. He’s been fantastic in training, his attitude has been spot on so hopefully he’ll enjoy the game.”

The manager further commented on the United-Arsenal rivalry, as he was himself a part of few of those games under Sir Alex Ferguson.

He said: “Fantastic, that’s the one fierce rivalry on a football basis on my years between the two of us, always the closest rivals, they win the trouble, we win the treble, and the games were just fantastic.”

Both these teams will face off tomorrow night for a place in FA Cup fifth round.
