PSG will be without the services of Marco Veratti and Leandro Paredes ahead of their Champions League fixture with Manchester United.

The last time these two sides met resulted in a 3-1 win for United to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

Thomas Tuchel’s side will be trying to take advantage of the Red Devils given their poor start to the domestic season.

However, they will be without Marco Veratti and Leandro Paredes as they are sidelined with thigh injuries and are still in the process of recovery.

“For the team, Marquinhos and Julian Draxler are expecting to start practise with us and we hope they will be able to play with us, other players will be missing like Verratti, Paredes, definitely missing for tomorrow,” Tuchel said during his pre-match press conference on Monday.

“Our memories against Manchester, obviously we don’t have very, very good memories.

“We had a good result at Old Trafford, in the end it wasn’t a great outcome for us, but we had a very great run last season for the Champions League and now it’s a challenge not to think too much about last season and two seasons ago.

“We have to overcome these difficulties, show what we are able to do now and start this new Champions League with zero points.”
