The Portuguese manager is back in England and ready to start his new job
Manchester United are officially prepared to present Jose Mourinho as the club’s new manager next week.
The former Chelsea boss was confirmed as the new Red Devils’ chief before the start of Euro 2016, but only gave the one interview to the club’s official TV channel MUTV.
However, Mourinho did insist he would face the media in early July and hasn’t gone back on his promise.
The 53-year old will be presented by United officials to the press on Tuesday 5 July, but he officially starts his work at Old Trafford on Monday 4 July.
The day after he faces questions (Wednesday 6 July), his squad will return to pre-season training as he looks to put his stamp on the players.
The old faces will be joined by the new signings of Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with the possibility of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba also joining the Manchester club.
