Manchester United’s Super Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been likened to the Terminator.
He definitely cuts an imposing figure, at just under 2 metres tall.
After arriving in the summer from Paris St-Germain, Ibrahimovic has enjoyed a fruitful start to this season, with five goals scored so far.
Northampton Town defender Gabriel Zakuani certainly got a close-up look at how Ibrahimovic operates, following United’s 3-1 EFL Cup victory over the Cobblers at Sixfields on Tuesday.
Zakuani told BBC World Service: ‘He talks a lot on the pitch, but he talks a bit like a robot, kind of like Terminator. It’s sort of in slow motion.
‘You can see his influence on their team. He’ll tell a few of the players that are rushing past him to just calm down and relax on the ball.
‘You can see straight away that he has the respect of everyone at the club.’
United are next in action on Saturday, when they take on champions Leicester City, aiming to get their season back on track after three defeats in a row before the victory on Tuesday.
