Marco Silva has insisted recent development of Everton players has helped him in implementing his ideas perfectly.
Everton have had a flurry of wins in recent past which includes victories over Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. Silva’s offensive approach to the game has changed the mindset at the club and the result is pretty evident as the Toffees thumped in four goals against United.
Despite the recent overturn of form, the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace has dealt a massive blow to their European hopes. The Merseysiders must win their remaining two games and need some favourable results from Wolves who are occupying the final European place.
Silva said, Yes, I have, of course.
“We know our philosophy is to be offensive and to win every match, and both collectively and individually I’ve seen the development of my team.
“If you go player by player, we can see some very good signs coming from them. Some of them are having their best season with Everton, others are showing their quality and having a different season to the previous one.
“We’ve reacted well as a team in the last two months after a bad period that we had. We stuck together in that period, and the players deserve credit because they kept believing in our ideas.”
