Sol Campbell says Eden Hazard may need to leave Chelsea to be considered “truly world class”.
Eden’s goal in their win over West Ham took him to 11 for the season and helped extend The Blue’s lead at the top of the table back to 10 points.
There has been a split debate with some saying Eden hazard is already a world class player, meanwhile, others, claim Hazard is yet to reach that level.
However the former Arsenal star thinks a move to Spain could change that, telling Sky Sports: “Sometimes you have to go to Real Madrid or go to Barcelona to be truly world class.
“He’s world class but sometimes you have to go to those clubs to almost say ‘look I’ve played at the biggest clubs in the world’.
“Chelsea’s a massive club but sometimes people do think that.
“To really see your potential as a world-class star, players do go to Real Madrid and Barcelona to kind of put that cherry on top of the cake.”
