West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he has been scouting three Chelsea players.

The trio of Stamford Bridge talent on his radar, however, does not include Serbian Branislav Ivanovic, who the Baggies are rumoured to be tracking.

Instead, Pulis has seemingly been watching Kurt Zouma, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah.

When asked if West Brom were interested in Ivanovic, Pulis flatly denied the rumours.

‘That’s a definite no,” Pulis replied. ‘He’s a good player and he’s done fantastic, but he’s never been on the radar.

‘I was at Chelsea to look at players Brentford had mentioned to me,’ he said.

‘I was also looking at Chelsea’s young players, Chalobah, Loftus-Cheek and Zouma.’

Zouma, Chalobah and Loftus-Cheek all started for Chelsea in the FA Cup tie against Brentford.

Pulis insisted that, with the January transfer window looming fast, he was not looking at any permanent deals, but would not rule out any loans.

‘We have a budget we must work to and, as I say, most of all must make sure any new players fit in to how we do things and are going to improve us.’ he added.
