Chelsea winger Willian will be given a new two-year contract with a massive pay rise. The 30-year old’s current contract sees him get paid ÂŁ120,000 a week and has less than two years left to last.

Willian joined Chelsea from Russian club Anzhi Makachkala in 2013 and has made 238 appearances for the club so far. He has scored 44 goals and has provided 40 assists so far.

Previously, there were heavy speculations that Willian would be moving from Chelsea with Manchester United and Barcelona interested. As a matter of fact, Barcelona made three bids for him. However, a few weeks back, Willian committed himself to the club under new coach Maurizio Sarri.A few days back, he did say that he would have left had Antonio Conte not left Chelsea.

The 30-year old gave an impressive performance in the club’s opener against Huddersfield Town. He assisted a goal in an eventual 3-0 win for the Blues. Chelsea play their first home game of the season against Arsenal tomorrow.
