PSG are reportedly angling to make a move for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola is one of the most decorated managers in modern day football and is under contract at Manchester City with the Abu Dhabi owners. The man himself has committed to his stay at City.
Asked about his future ahead of City’s draw with Palace, Guardiola said: “Unless they sack me, I am staying, 100 per cent. It’s not because we have won the last two leagues. Even if it was going bad, I’m not going anywhere. No manager wins all the time. I enjoy working with these players. We’ve lost some games so it is simple, we need to work out what we can do better.”
We would probably rule out any transfer of Pep either given that the man has given his word plus City are one of the few clubs in the world who can match any salary he is offered.
However, in current football era, if there was one club who could give the Citizens a run for their money, it would have to be PSG.
Remember how people wrote off the Neymar transfer as well? Well, I am sitting tight on this one.
