Real Madrid’s continued search for a lethal striker has now led to the spotlight shining on Harry Kane.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward has scored 17 goals in 25 matches this season and this is worst returned in his last 5 seasons. It just goes on to show the class of Kane which looks even better when you consider the fact that has played for a club who are yet to register a silverware in over a decade now.
His proven lethality in front of goal and leadership qualities has landed him on Zinedine Zidane’s shopping list, who wants a new forward this summer. Zizou has Luka Jovic and Karim Benzema in his ranks. However, with Benzema ageing fast and Jovic being unable to adapt to his new club, Real are struggling for goals and who better to solve than the Premier League’s highest scorer in the last 5 seasons put together.
Kane recently in an interview made it clear that he will not be staying at Spurs just for the sake of it and the club must show ambition if they want to keep him. This puts Spurs in a predicament as competing with Real Madrid is not really a situation Tottenham would fancy right now, especially financially or trophy wise.
