Former Manchester United midfield star Roy Kean has backed Jose Mourinho managed Tottenham Hotspur to make the top 4 this season.

The contenders currently for the 4th spot are Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Sheffield United, and Wolves. While Wolves and Sheffield are largely being considered as outsiders, it is between Spurs, Chelsea, and United that the real fight will most probably take place.

And now Keane has backed Mourinho to use his experience over novices like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard to secure a top four spot for Spurs in the Premier League.
“I think the season starts now for these teams chasing the top four,” Keane revealed. “They [Tottenham] look as if they have a spring in their steps again. It was a huge result over the weekend. And even looking at Mourinho’s body language, he looks like he has got his spark back,” added the former Manchester United captain. He continued to say: “For some reason, you score late in the game, it’s a huge momentum turner and of course with Chelsea coming up, Spurs look back in the zone.”
Tottenham take on Chelsea next weekend in their 27th league match.
