Liam Rosenior has said that Tottenham Hotspur need to make a signing to make their challenge for top four or any trophy at the end of the season.
Spurs are without their star forward Harry Kane, their dynamic midfielder Dele Alli due to injuries. They have also lost Son who is away on national duty and Rosenior feels they need to bring in a player.
He said, “They have to bring someone in this month if they want to win a trophy or stay in the top-four race. Manchester United are coming up hot on the rails. Chelsea and Arsenal are going through difficult moments but they will be there, so Spurs need to bring someone in. Tottenham’s squad says you have to stick with him. At the moment I don’t see any other option than sticking with Llorente and trying to get him on form.
“Just as worrying as that was their defensive performance against Fulham in the first half. Davinson Sanchez was out of sorts, Fulham could have scored three or four goals, and if you haven’t got your main goalscorer at one end you need to keep the back door shut. I think that will be a worry for Mauricio Pochettino going into the next game.”
