Marseille forward Dimitri Payet has talked about his past clashes with PSG.
The former West Ham star and France international has been part of some fiery clashes with PSG over the last few seasons and reveals he does not regret any of it.
“Do I regret the chambers made at PSG? Not at all. I would even like to continue. It’s part of the game; it should not be taken at face value. But I realized one thing: it was not the PSG who answered me, even if Presnel (Kimpembe) made it with good war in a press conference. No, my surprise is that there are so many Paris supporters in the media,” Payet said.
“Afterward, when you’re a lodger like me, if you’re sensitive, you’re in pain. Sometimes it goes a bit far. But it’s because it’s OM, it’s me. I accept it. I know how to take it. Hot PSG players during the Classico? Yes. I woke up the next day with ankle pain, yes. I didn’t think a tweet could derail them like this. So much the better, it allowed us to take three points there.”
