The former Paris Saint-Germain AWOL man is going to have to wait for his turn.

Maurizo Sarri says Blaise Matuidi’s form means there is no place in the Juve team just yet for Adrien Rabiot.

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is reportedly unhappy with his lack of playing time at the club. The Ligue 1 winner only joined the Bianconeri over the summer, arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, he has managed just 27 minutes of football in their first four Serie A games this season.

“What must Rabiot think? That Matuidi is strong,” coach Maurizio Sarri said after the Old Lady struggled to beat Verona 2-1 on Saturday.

According to SoccerLink, the Frenchman is “beginning to get impatient” and wants to get back playing “once and for all”. Sarri has preferred to stick with the status quo, chiefly lining up with Blaise Matuidi, Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic in the middle of the park.

The 24-year-old recently won a legal case with Paris Saint-Germain over non-payment of a €40,000 bonus. He was dropped by the French champions for the second half of last season over a contractual dispute and was later deprived of a “morality bonus”.

With Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey and Rodrigo Bentancur out of the clash with Brescia, Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic are likely to take to the field on Tuesday night.
