Miralem Pjanic signs new contract with Juventus

Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has signed a new contract with club. The new contract extends his stay at the club till 2023. Pjanic joined Juventus from Roma in 2016 for a fee of €32 million. He has since played 92 matches for the club so far, scoring 15 goals and providing 28 assists.

Pjanic wrote on social media, “I’m very happy to extend my contract until 2023 with this amazing club.”

Juventus released a statement on the club’s website about Pjanic’s contract extension. The statement read, “Juventus are delighted to announce that Miralem Pjanic has renewed his contract at the club until 2023. Since arriving prior to the 2016/17 season, Pjanic has become an increasingly-integral part of the Bianconeri midfield, providing pin-point passes across the pitch while firing free-kicks into the back of the net with outstanding consistency.”

Juventus began their Premier League campaign with a 3-2 win over Chievo. They now take on Lazio at Turin on Saturday.
