Jose Mourinho has challenged Paul Pogba to show his class when Manchester United take on Valencia in a Champions League clash at Mestalla.

Despite being one of the finest midfielders of the present era Pogba is yet to get out of his skin properly. The French international does have the talent and skill set to change the game but has often found himself in the midst of criticism.

On the back of a very successful World Cup, all the hopes were pinned on him but the midfielder has somehow failed to live up to the expectations. Also, his off field problems, his relations with Mourinho and his potential transfer to Barcelona has had an adverse effect on his performance.

The stage is set for the 25 year old as he is likely to be unleashed against Valencia and he needs to put a good shift to repay the faith of his manager. Mourinho said,  “I am looking for him (Pogba) to play well and to have a good impact in the game and a good impact in the team.

“A team with many players who don’t have many miles on their legs, a team with some players who are not playing a lot.

“So, I hope people like Paul and a couple of others, that are normally in the team and have the number of miles players need to have a good level, can have a good impact on the team.”
