Pep Guardiola is plotting £75m bid for Real Madrid star Isco.
Manchester City are planning a summer bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to transfer reports.
After missing out on Alexis Sanchez and Riyad Mahrez in January, City manager remains on the hunt for an additional creative talent in midfield. Guardiola is apparently a huge fan of Isco and is keen to bring him to the Etihad Stadium after the reports that the 25-year-old’s Real future is in doubt.
The LaLiga giants are said to be preparing for a major squad overhaul this summer after a dreadful league campaign – with Zinedine Zidane’s side 15 points adrift of leaders and rivals Barcelona.
There are claims Isco fears his first-team game time could be damaged by any incoming players at the Bernabeu.
The Spain international is ready to leave Los Blancos and seal a move to Man City when the summer transfer window opens. It is claimed Isco ‘wants to play under Pep by all accounts’.
An Etihad Stadium source has quoted saying the club are ‘looking to tweak the squad with four roles on the radar including two midfielders, another striker and a back-up full-back’.
