Kevin-Prince Boateng claims Barcelona are superior than Real Madrid
Barcelona’s new signing Kevin-Prince Boateng, who was bought from Sassuolo during the recently concluded January transfer window, says he is excited to join the Catalans and claims that they are superior than arch-rivals Real Madrid.
Speaking to Sky Italia, the striker said: “Between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid? I stay with Barça because they play football that everyone would like to play.
“For everything, for its stadium, for tiki-taka … The Santiago Bernabeu is very nice, but the Nou Camp creates an atmosphere that moves people.
“When I played with AC Milan, I felt it already, and later with Las Palmas. We lost 5-0, but I was not mad because I felt that particular atmosphere, you feel that wave, and I was there.”
In terms of the positioning of both clubs this season, Barcelona are leading the La Liga by 11 points, having played a game more than Los Blancos. We will witness three El Clasicos in the space of next 30 days, two of them being of the two-legged Copa Del Ray semi-final, and one being the league game.
Both the Spanish giants will also be competing in the last-16 tie of the Champions League, with Barcelona due to face Lyon and Real Madrid are up against Ajax.
