Chelsea want new faces at The Bridge

Blue’s boss, Jose Mourinho has suggested that no players will leave in the Summer, yet there will be fresh faces at the Bridge

Chelsea breeze to Premier title

The Portuguese supremo has just overseen his third Premier League title at Chelsea, and has done it with his usual swagger and consummate ease. Three games to go, and it’s done and dusted.

The West Londoners celebrated their title win with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend, and despite being able to take their foot off the gas this weekend, they are still favourites against Liverpool on Sunday.

Squad improvements

Mourinho has told reporters that he wants to bolster his squad for next year:

‘The most important thing is to keep the squad we have,’ he said. ‘I want to keep my important players and they are all important

‘Obviously we will try to improve the squad, our squad will be very similar to this one with some new players

‘What pleases me is winning the title, the way we did it and the consistency we’ve shown in difficult periods.’

Unbelievable record

It seems unlikely that Mourinho will choose not to sell anyone at all, but when he says something, the world’s media does tend to stand up and listen, including us. With a record like his, who wouldn’t listen? Two Champions League victories, top divisional winners in England (three times), Spain, Italy (twice) and Portugal (twice), FA Cups, League Cups, Uefa Cups, Coppa Italias, the list goes on and and on.

So…..Jose has warned the rest of Europe that he will strengthen his squad in the summer. Who are we to believe he won’t? Look out everyone else, a dynasty is being built.
