Eden Hazard has officially been announced as a Real Madrid player.
The Belgian star who made the move from West London to the Spanish capital this summer was unveiled as a Galactico last evening in front of a 60,00 odd strong crowd. Hazard was his usual jovial self with a touch of sincerity and his first press conference as a Real Madrid player will only have him gain more fans.
Hazard wasted precious seconds in admitting that joining Real has been a dream of his. “I want to win many titles with Real Madrid, in this shirt. This has been my dream since I was a child and now I’m here. I just want to enjoy this moment.”
“I plan to enjoy myself here, because at Real Madrid you have to win as much as possible.
“Hopefully I can write another page in the history of the club.”
Hazard said: “Everyone knows Zidane has been my idol since I was a child, and him being the Madrid boss was an important factor for me coming here.”
The player is sincerely one of the most entertaining footballers on the planet to watch right now and the thought of him taking over the mantle at one of the greatest clubs in the world is exactly what he and the football community deserves.
