Welsh superstar to decide his future with Real Madrid boss by next week
According to reports from Mirror, there is a meeting to happen between Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui and Real Madrid’s winger, Gareth Bale to decide about his future with the club.
The reports say that the player was back to his hometown Cardiff last week to visit his new bar Elevens and he has admitted that he has an open mind for his future with the Spanish side.
There has been link ups between the player and the English side Manchester United as the Red Devils has been a forever fan of the player.
The Red Devils are keen to sign Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale, as the squad lack a natural right flank. They have been linked with him for a long time.
The Wales International joined the Spanish side from Tottenham for a then world record transfer fee of €100.8 million, signing a six year contract in the summer of 2013. He has enjoyed a successful period with the club, winning four Champions League, one La Liga title and two Club World Cup wins.
The 28 year old has been an integral part for the La Liga giants but struggled to be a regular with injury problems. He has often been sidelined for a long period of time due to his injury problems.
The former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane preferred Isco and Marco Asensio ahead of him in the starting line up which could be one of the reason for him to leave the Spanish side.
The winger however proved his worth when he came on as a substitute in the Champions League final against Liverpool last month. The score was 1-1 and he scored two goals in quick succession, including a brilliant bicycle goal, to turn the match in their favor.
Now it will depend on the meeting to be held between the boss and the player to decide his future.
