French forward Kylian Mbappe has admitted of staying at PSG.

After recent linkups between the French forward and Spanish side Real Madrid heating up, Mbappe has admitted that the player will stay at his present side, Paris Saint Germain.

He said, “I will stay with PSG, continuing on my path with them, I am at the beginning of my career.” to the reporters after France’s successful World cup win against Croatia in the final which the French side won 4-2.

There were link up between the 19 -year old striker and the Spanish Club after reports came out to say that the French Forward can be a long term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who has joined the Italian club Juventus for on a four-year contract that will see him pocket €30 million (£26.5 million/$35 million) per season after they agreed to pay Real Madrid €100 million (£88 million/$117 million) plus €12 million (£10.5 million/$14 million) more in additional charges..

Mbappe was brought by Paris Saint Germain from AS Monaco on loan. The France International burst onto the scene for Monaco last season and helped the team to win Ligue 1. His outstanding form caught attention of PSG and took him on an initial loan deal last summer.

The fee for the transfer was €145 million plus €35 million in add-ons, which made him the most expensive teenage player ever. Representing PSG in 44 games, Mbappe has scored 21 times.

Mbappe had a great run during the FIFA world cup scoring 4 goals and was also adjudged the FIFA World Cup Best Young Player Award.
