Jose welcome back to Spain: La liga president

Jose Mourinho has been around the globe as a manager.

The Portuguese tactician rose to fame in early days at Portgual as he took a comparatively competitive FC Porto team to back to back league titles and an European Champions League trophy by beating teams like Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United.

He then made the jump to the English Premier League where he announced himself as the “special one”. Chelsea went on win back to back league titles under him and looked dominant and dangerous. His legacy left players like Drogba and Lampard as world beaters at the club. His departure saw him move to Italy where he won league titles and his second CL trophy.

His next stop was in Spain where he ended Guardiola’s dominance and gave Real Madrid the league title. His return to Chelsea saw him win the title again before his decline began. He was sacked the next season and after that he joined United for three years where he failed to win the league as well leading to his second successive sacking.

Rumours are now circling he could be on a plane back to Madrid again and La Liga President Tebas has welcomed the opportunity. “It would not be a bad thing for La Liga,” Tebas told Catalan radio station RAC1. “He is a fantastic coach who has many qualities and it would be a great spectacle, it would be fantastic to have him here, but who knows what club would it be.”

Will we see Jose at the Bernabeu soon?
