A possible return for Neymar to La Liga has been welcomed by La Liga president Javier Tebas.

The Brazilian superstar has previously played for FC Barcelona and Tebas is open to the idea of having him back in Spain.

“Neymar returning to Spain? We want as many stars as possible of course and he is one of the global stars,” Tebas said. “But the important thing for us is to have a strong brand, like England’s Premier League, and they have not had Ballon d’Or winners in many years.”

Neymar left Barcelona for French giants PSG in a world record move. His move back to Spain was fuelled further by Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.

“It would be difficult,” Messi, 31, had told Marca. “We would love it if he came back for what he means as a player and in the dressing room. We are friends, we enjoyed nice moments, as well some which were not so nice, but we spent a lot of time together. It is undoubtedly difficult to imagine him leaving Paris. PSG won’t let Neymar go.”

However, their remains a new twist that should Neymar return he could yet choose Real Madrid this time over Barcelona.
