Jurgen Klopp has identified the Spaniard as a key transfer target
Liverpool are set to open negotiations with Barcelona regarding a potential transfer for winger Cristian Tello.
Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the 24-year-old and believes he can become a very important part of his new Liverpool team.
The charismatic German has identified that he would like a winger with pace and power to fit the style of football he is trying to bring to Anfield.
Tello is currently enjoying his second successive loan spell at Porto, who are also interested in bringing the player to Portugal.
He has represented his country from U19 level and made his debut for the senior team in Spain’s 2-0 friendly victory over Ecuador in 2013.
