Marotta: ‘Pogba going nowhere’

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has reiterated the clubs desire to keep hold of midfielder Paul Pogba beyond this summer and says he is going nowhere.

The France international has performed impressively well this campaign, scoring six goals from a holding midfield role while also providing eight assists for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

Due to the 22-year-old ripping up the Serie A this season, some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City are all lining up moves for him in the summer transfer window.

And if he does want to move onto pastures new from Turin, his price tag is said to be at least £75million according to the clubs hierarchy.

In an interview with Italian radio stadium Gr Parlamento, Marotta said: “Paul Pogba? He’s a great player.

“He can still give a lot to the Juventus cause.

“He’s an important asset for our club and we’ll hold on tight to him.” he added.
