2. Johan Cruyff – Known for the Cruyff turn
In second place is Johan Cruyff the Dutch and Barcelona Legend who led his teams to success competitions. He is also renowned as one of the greatest footballers in the Dutch history. Johan Cruyff was well known for his marvelous 180 degree turn which caught most of the defenders unawares. Nowadays his skill of play is know common and in most cases is referred to as a dummy turn, this is a turn in which the player in possession fakes a shot and turns back in the direction he was coming from a 180 degrees.
Johan Cruyff was named as Dutch Footballer of the Year five times during his time of active football.Â
