Zidane, Ramos, Carvajal, Hazard - Its all boiling in Madrid now

Zinedine Zidane appeared to be a frustrated man last night after Real Madrid’s defeat which saw them slip from the pole position in La Liga standings.

“It doesn’t look good,” Zidane told reporters at a news conference. “It can become weak where you’ve had an injury. It is a blow, let’s see.

“It’s sore now but we’ll see tomorrow when we do more tests.”

Captain Sergio Ramos also blasted the team.

“We’re p***ed off,” he wrote on Twitter.

“But we can’t allow our heads to drop.

“We have to reset now and tomorrow push harder than ever before for a very important week. We’re counting on you.”

Carvajal went on to add even more.

“We were too forgiving in the first half and Morales scored a great goal. We were not able to get the goal in the last quarter of an hour and it cost us three points. The teams performance dropped off. With the goal came the anxiety and wanting to get on top as soon as possible and that wasn’t the way to go about it”.

“A week ago we were top of the league and today we are below Barcelona. It’s clear that you can’t drop off, now it’s time to think about next Wednesday’s match. It’s the first leg of a very tough tie, we’ll try to put in a big performance and tip the balance in our favour. We’ll think about next Sunday’s match after Wednesday”.
