German and European champions Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea outcase Juan Mata.
The Spaniard, who has been one of the key players for The Blues since arriving at Stamford Bridge, has found first-team appearances hard to come by so far this season due to Jose Mourinho’s arrival, who claimed he wasn’t good enough for his starting-XI.
Due to the lack of action, it has been widely speculated that he could seek an exit from The Bridge, and due to this, several teams from around Europe have declared their interest in the midfield-maestro.
Manchester United and Arsenal from the Premier League have recently been interested, but now it is teams abroad that are hotting up the chase.
French side Paris Saint-Germain have been joined by Italian side Napoli and also German outfit Bayern Munich in the race for Mata, and it is reported in Germany that Pep Guardiola is prepared to make a £20million bid for the 25-year-old.
However, this bid will not come until the Summer as he doesn’t want to sign an ineligble player for the Champions League.
