Eva Caneiro misses Mourinho meeting

Physio didn’t show up on Thursday

The future of Eva Caneiro is still in doubt at Chelsea Football Club after she didn’t show up to an arranged meeting on Thursday held by Jose Mourinho.

The club physio has had a major fall-out with the club’s manager after he called her a ‘son of a bitch’ after she treated Eden Hazard on Saturday.

Caneiro ran on the pitch to treat the star which left Mourinho visibly livid as it left his side down to nine-men for the time being due to Thibaut Courtois being dismissed earlier in the match.

After the game, Mourinho said Caneiro had no knowledge of the game and called her a distraction. The physio then took to her official Facebook page to thank fans for their support, something that angered Mourinho further.

Mourinho Discusses Medical Staff

In his press conference yesterday, Mourinho confirmed that the physio wouldn’t be on the bench for Sunday’s game against Manchester City, but she could return in the future.

However, he then confirmed there was a clear-the-air meeting held between himself and the medical staff on Thursday, but it’s apparent that Caneiro didn’t show.

It’s reported that Caneiro is taking legal advise against the club after her dismissal from match-day priorities.
