Jordan Pickford has said that Everton are looking to bounce back.

The Toffees are having a tough time in the Premier League and have won only one of their last seven matches.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has said that Everton are determined to bounce back in the Premier League after they endured a tough time in the recent past. The Toffees have managed to win only once in their last seven outings, facing a disappointing result in their last match against Brighton and Hove Albion. However, the England number 1 has said that the Merseyside club are determined to build momentum.

Speaking to the club website, Pickford said, “I am starting to feel momentum myself and I keep plugging away and getting better and better and learning every day. I train as hard as I can and to the best of my ability, which is all I can do – and then I can hopefully express my talent on the pitch.”

The player did not have a chance against Jurgen Locadia’s side as he saw his side failing to get over the lines against the Seagulls. The Toffees are set to take on Leicester City in their next match and Pickford said it is essential for them to win the match. He said, “Leicester is another tough game and it comes less than 70 hours after we finished at Brighton but we haven’t won for three games at home and need to get that momentum going. If we get that result, it will spark a good start to the new year. We did not get the result we wanted to finish off 2018 but that is football and we have another game to turn it around in a short space of time.”
