NASL club Atlanta Silverbacks have appointed Eric Wynalda as their new head coach.
The 44-year old former USA international, who acted as Silverbacks caretaker boss in 2012, will replace Brian Haynes and is expected to be unveiled on Tuesday.
Ex-FC Saarbrucken, VfL Bochum and San Jose Clash midfielder Wynalda previously had a coaching stint in charge of Cal FC in 2012, guiding the amateur side to the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.
