Argentine’s agent set to hold formal talks with Premier League side
Paris Saint-Germain star Ezequiel Lavezzi could finally be set for a move to the Premier League as his agent is expected to hold formal talks with Chelsea today.
The Argentine winger has been strongly linked with a move away from PSG after falling down the pecking order under Laurent Blanc in recent weeks.
Lavezzi has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in the past few months, but reports today have claimed that it’s Chelsea who are ready to hold formal talks.
Lavezzi’s Future
According to reports, the winger’s agent is in London and is ready to hold negotiations with Guus Hiddink and co. at Stamford Bridge.
It was reported earlier this week that United officials had flown out to Paris in the hope they could talk with the Ligue 1 side about a possible sale, but with the 30-year-old’s team now in London, it looks like Chelsea could be in pole position.
It’s stated that his agent, Alessandro Moggi, is in London today holding talks with Chelsea, however, it’s believed a move to Italy could still be on the cards with Inter Milan also keen.
