Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has admitted he is still adapting to the pros and cons of English Premier League.
Despite almost investing £40m in the player Jurgen Klopp hasn’t used the player in the top flight as his only appearances being in the Champions League and Carabao Cup.
It is not sure what is Klopp’s plan for the Brazilian but the gaffer definitely doesn’t want to rush things as of now. The sudden emergence of Giorginio Wijnaldum in the holding midfield role also has added another dimension to the gaffer’s selection policy and it may be the reason why Fabinho is still searching for his Premier League debut.
Despite all the concerns, Fabinho is happy with the current developments. “My process to adapt to English football has been very good.
“Since pre-season I believe I have understood the way Jurgen Klopp plays and the way the team plays.
“It’s a new experience for me because Klopp has a different style of work from the way I’m used to, but this is something I will learn.
“I have learned a few things from him, but it is just the start. He is a coach who demands a lot from his players, not just in matches but also on a daily basis in training.”
