Fabinho to snub Manchester United
Fabinho has been linked with a move to English giants Manchester United for over a year now. He was on their radar last last summer and he is still one their top transfer targer this summer.
Fabinho has been performing for Monaco brilliantly and one of the reasons for Monaco’s successful campaign last year including league win over their rivals Paris Saint-Germain and a Semi-finals finish, first time since 2004. The Brazilian is a very versatile player with the ability to play both in right-back position and in midfield. He was one of the key players Monaco managed to hold with key players like Mbappe and Silva leaving.
Mourinho is a big admirer of the 24 year old and wants to bring him this summer. But, according to Canal Plus, a move to Old Trafford looks off the cards as Fabinho is set to sign a new deal with Monaco. He is very close to agreeing a long term contract
It will be huge boost for the French side as they are looking to rebuild their team after losing so many important players. They are currently 17 points behind PSG and will look to close this gap again next season.
Fabinho joined Monaco in 2015, after 2 years loan spells with them, from Rio Ave and is tied to the club until June 2019.
