Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is confident Marco Silva is the right man to take the club forward in this turbulent time.
The Toffees have had a great start to the current season but a number of losses in the last few matches piled pressure on the Portuguese. The Merseysiders are currently 11th in the Premier League table and are scheduled to host Bournemouth on Sunday.
Moshiri infused millions in a bid to transform this side which saw the arrival of Bernard, Yerry Mina Andre Gomes and many more. Silva has implemented a new positive attacking style at the Goodison Park since his introduction and Moshiri insists the manager will do the needful to pull the club into the upper half of the table.
“We did our homework and put a big bet on Marco and we stick with him. He has our total support.
“Consistency has been an issue but we have had some terrific performances and the challenge in the second half is to have more of those performances.
“I look at the table and it is just not good enough. We need to go up the table, we need to utilise the fans’ impatience to drive the club.”
