La Liga giants interested in Arsenal forward
According to reports in Spain, FC Barcelona are interested in signing Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.
The England international has been getting a run of games as the lone-striker in Arsene Wenger‘s side, the position he claims is best for him, ahead of target-man Olivier Giroud.
Walcott netted a consolation goal against Dinamo Zagreb, as well as scoring during the Gunners‘ 2-0 win over Stoke City in the Premier League.
Shock Interest
After an impressive end to last season and a few goals so far this season, Barcelona have reportedly made Walcott a shock transfer target.
The La Liga champions lost Rafinha to a long-term injury as well as selling Pedro to Chelsea, and Luis Enrique wants to add Walcott as an attacking option.
Barca already have the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, but according to reports in Spain, they want to add Walcott to the squad.
Spanish newspaper AS have claimed Barca want to sign Walcott due to his lethal pace and his ability to play along the front-three.
