FC Barcelona are preparing to make a whopping £29million bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz come January.
The Spanish giants are keen to sign some more defenders after last season they were left with playing Alex Song and Javier Mascherano at the back due to injuries picked up by Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique.
In the Summer they failed to sign Thiago Silva from Paris Saint Germain, so they turned their attentions to Luiz, but they once again failed as the Brazilian wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge.
However, since then, Luiz has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea and is playing second-fiddle to Gary Cahill and John Terry, so a move to Spain may be something that interests him now with the World Cup just months away.
It is reported that Barca will offer £29million for the Brazilian, which will give The Blues a profit of £4million after they spent £25m on him when signing from Benfica.
