Felipe Anderson Believes He Is Yet To Reach His Highest Level

West Ham United playmaker Felipe Anderson has insisted he is still trying to hit the ground hard in the Premier League but the best is yet to come.

The Brazilian has had a quiet start to the campaign but was pretty lively against Arsenal and Manchester United. He was even on the scoresheet against the Red Devils but since then his performance level has significantly dropped.

Anderson was one of the priciest players to arrive in the Premier League this summer but he hasn’t had much effect in controlling the stakes of the game.

Just when things were about to settle following their three match unbeaten run, back to back defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur has jolted their plans and it seems Manuel Pellegrini may have to start from the scratch.

Anderson said, “They have confidence in me and I am very happy here. The results have not yet been as good as we would have liked, but I believe the work will have an effect and we will start getting better results.

“My adaptation has been wonderful, better than expected, and it will be even better with time.

“People think that Felipe Anderson can make a difference in every match and to have the trust of my teammates and to have the trust of the fans is very important. We will try to get better results at home in the next matches.

“The results have to improve soon and we need to keep being positive to get them.”
